Applied consulting
Wisconsin Consulting Club (WCC) is a University of Wisconsin- Madison registered student organization focused on preparing club members for successful careers in the consulting industry and delivering value to startups, non-profits, and corporations.
This semester, we are continuing our Applied Consulting program in which groups of students, 1 project leader and four to five consultants, work on a project over the course of 12-14 weeks for a client. This is a great learning opportunity for students to gain hands-on consulting experience as well as a way for you to achieve your business objectives at no expense.
A team of eager student-consultants is ready to work with you on projects including but not limited to the following:
-
Market Research
-
Product Development
-
Business Models
-
Marketing and Sales
-
Pricing Operations
Projects are 12 weeks long during the fall and spring semesters. For you as a client, we ask that you define clear problem areas within your business. We also ask that you are able to dedicate time to attend bi-weekly client meetings (in person or virtually), a midpoint check-in and a final deliverable presentation. The team of student consultants you work to develop your objectives, conduct market research, engage with you in bi-weekly meetings and present a final recommendation to you.
Please see an informational slide deck here with more information about WCC’s Applied Consulting Program.
If you are interested in the Applied Consulting Program and have any upcoming projects that you would like WCC to get involved with, please contact us at wcc.communication@gmail.com
We would also be happy to set up a phone call to discuss any questions you may have and to provide you with more details.
Our members would love to have the opportunity to work with your company!
